Silambam performed at KAB Viswanathan school

In view of Independence Day, Trichy world Silambam youth federation performed Silambam with two sticks at KAB Viswanathan high school in the city and entered into Dubai Einstein world record books. Silambam was performed in an attempt to preserve the traditional game of Tamil. They performed it for three hours from 6 am. The first three places were grabbed by RR Naveen Vignesh, Seerkali Vimal and Trichy Gokul, and Madurai Muthumari respectively. Scholarship worth Rs 1.50 lakh was given to Vellore Kabaddi player Divya in the event.
