SKP institutions organize ‘skill festival’ competitions

SKP educational institutions organized a ‘skill festival’ at a private hall in Thandarampattu for school students aged between three and 17 years. Various competitions including coloring, painting, singing, dancing, poster making and Tirukurral recitation were conducted in four categories.
The event was presided over by the institutions’ president K Karunanidhi. Joint secretary KV Arangasamy, and chief administrative officer R Sakthikrishnan were present at the event. Principal of SKP Vanitha matriculation school Gayathri welcomed the gathering.
Journalist Vijayan Ramalingam attended the event as a special guest. He spoke about the importance of bringing up children, and highlighted the importance of physical, social and intellectual development of children.
Sakthikrishnan honored him with a memento. PRO Syed Zahiruddin also attended the event.
More than 500 students participated in the competitions. Winners of various competitions were awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates.
