Smart India Hackathon held at KEC

Kongu Engineering College (KEC), Perundurai, was selected as one of the nodal center to facilitate the Smart India Hackathon software edition.

 Total 21 teams having 133 participants from 21 organizations were competing against 6 number of Problem statement. KEC hosted problem statements given by The National Council of Educational  Research and Training and Department of School Education and Literacy.

 Mr.Pushkar Bhadle, Team Lead at Aujas Cyber Security and Mr.Bharanidhran Krishnaswamy, Chief Architect, TCS, Chennai were the guests for local inauguration. During the inaugural function, Prime Minister of India interacted with the student participants of the SIH through online

In KEC nodal Centre under 5 category of problem statements, Rs 5 lakh were given as cash awards.  KVITT Secretary P.C.Palanisamy,  Patron Members of KVITT,  KEC Correspondent P.Sachithanandan, Principal Dr.V.Balusamy, Chief Coordinators of various cells, HoDs, faculty and staff members were present.
