Social welfare minister Geetha Jeevan participated in the gram sabha meeting that was organized in view of Gandhi Jayanthi at Vilvamarathupatti panchayat in Vilathikulam panchayat union in the district and distributed sewing machines to women on behalf of HCL. MLA Markandeyan, district revenue officer Ajay Srinivasan, town panchayat chairman Ayanraj, vice president Velusamy, DRDA PD Veeraputhiran, revenue divisional officer Jane Christy Bhai, tahsildar Ramakrishnan, block development officers Thangavel and Srinivasan, Vilvamarathupatti panchayat president Chinnaponnu, district panchayat member Natarajan and others were present at the event.
