South Tamil Nadu likely to get showers

The Chennai Meteorological Department has forecast heavy rains and thundershowers in some parts of the state. South Tamil Nadu, Delta districts, Pudukottai, Cuddalore and Ariyalur districts are likely to receive heavy showers at one or two places on Monday. The prevailing weather in most of the districts would be a sigh of relief for the scorching Summer. 

The forecast report for tomorrow(Tuesday) states that Light to moderate showers with thundershowers at a few places in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal are likely.

 Heavy to very heavy rain is likely in one or two places in the south-eastern districts tomorrow, the report adds.
