SPIC School celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotism on its assembly ground. The event commenced at 7:55 AM with the arrival of Chief Guest E Balu, School President and Whole-Time Director of SPIC, along with P Senthilnayagam, Whole-Time Director of Greenstar Fertilizers Ltd., School Secretary T.S. Prem Sundar, Headmaster L Babu Radhakrishnan, and dignitaries from SPIC and Greenstar.
The celebrations began with the hoisting of the national flag by the Chief Guest, accompanied by the flag song, which instilled a sense of pride and unity among all attendees. Addressing the gathering, E Balu highlighted the importance of unity and individual contributions toward the nation's development.
A vibrant parade followed, showcasing the discipline and dedication of the school community. The cultural program was a display of the students’ patriotism and talent, featuring inspiring speeches on the significance of Republic Day and the Constitution of India.
The school choir performed stirring patriotic songs, celebrating India’s cultural diversity.
Students also recited a heartfelt "kavithai" emphasising the role of youth in nation-building and performed a skit highlighting India’s achievements and progress.
The event was a reflection of SPIC School’s commitment to promoting patriotism and unity among its students, leaving everyone inspired and looking forward to future endeavours.
