SREC Alumni Meet RAN 2025 Celebrates Bonds and Achievements

Sri Ramakrishna Engineering College (SREC) hosted its Rising Alumni Nexus (RAN 2025), bringing together graduates from the 2016 to 2024 batches in a grand celebration of memories and achievements.
The programme began with a digital presentation, invocation, and welcome address by Ms. Veena Ramesh, President of the SREC Alumni Association, who also highlighted the association’s latest initiatives.
SREC Principal Dr. A. Soundarrajan inspired the alumni with his address, while Shri R. Sundar, Managing Trustee of SNR Sons Charitable Trust, underlined the importance of alumni bonds for institutional growth.
Chief Guest Mrs. Kovai Santhamani motivated the gathering with her reflections on dreams, perseverance, and excellence. A major highlight of the day was the announcement of the Rising Nexus Excellence Award by alumnus Mr. P. Sathish (1995–1999, Mechanical Engineering), recognising distinguished alumni for their professional achievements.
The alumni general body meeting was held, followed by the release of the alumni magazine Spotlight. Throughout the day, former students shared experiences and rekindled bonds, turning the campus into a space of nostalgia and connection.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Dr. M. Jagadeeswari, HOD/ECE and Convener of RAN 2025.
