Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology hosts mega championship events

The engines roared, the tires screeched, and innovation took center stage as Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology (SRIT), Pachapalayam, Coimbatore, in collaboration with Autosports India, successfully hosted the Mega Championship Events from 11th to 13th April 2025.
The prestigious event was inaugurated by Shri R. Sundar, Managing Trustee, SNR Sons Charitable Trust, and D.Maheshkumar CAO of Trust  in the esteemed presence of Dr. J. David Rathnaraj, Principal, SRIT, and Mr. Ajith Pande, Founder of Autosports India.
More than 1000 students of over 40 reputed engineering institutions participated. The event witnessed fierce and enthusiastic competition in three main categories:
Mega Karting Championship (IC & Electric)
Mega ATV Championship (IC & Electric) Mega E-Bike Championship (up to 2000W)Renowned institutions like BITS Pilani – Goa Campus, VIT Bhopal, College of Engineering Guindy (CEG), Chennai, and many more showcased their best teams.
The stakes were high, with cash prizes totaling ₹10 Lakhs awarded across multiple competitive categories.
Under the visionary guidance of Dr. B. Chokkalingam, Head of the Department of mechanical engineering, the team ensured flawless logistics, track readiness, technical inspection protocols, safety standards, and team coordination.
