Stance on CAA an interplay of politics

Stance on CAA an interplay of politics

Ahead of the general elections the Union Minister Shantanu Tagore has said that the CAA will be put into effect. In response, M. K. Stalin, the chief minister of Tamil Nadu, said right away, "We will never allow the Citizenship Amendment Act to set foot in Tamil Nadu."  EdappadiPalaniswami has vehemently declared that the AIADMK will never for the CAA to have an impact on members of the minority community.
EdappadiPalaniswami would not have forgotten that AIADMK was the reason for the enactment of this CAA Act.The BJP government brought the CAA Bill in the Parliament and passed it due to their majority in the LokSabha. But when the BJP did not have a majority in the RajyaSabha, the bill was passed with the support of 13 members of the AIADMK? If the AIADMK had used its brain right then and there, the CAA bill would have met with failure, wouldn't it?
Why EdappadiPalaniswami suddenly criticizing CAA like Surya Namaskarafter a damaged eye? It may be since even the minimum of the minority votes should not be forfeited in the elections.
The Union BJP government's claim that it will implement the CAA was brought in the name of providing shelter to refugees. In fact it aims to exclude Muslims and Sri Lankan Tamils.
Not only that, the political critics are also of the opinion that the BJP government has now taken this weapon to convert votes in the parliamentary elections.
