State Level Badminton Tournament

Erode Tigers Badminton Association organized state level Badminton tournament for over 50 years in Erode RDO office complex. 8 teams from Erode, Namakkal and Coimbatore districts participated. Kumarapalayam K.P.B.C team won the championship.

Kodumudi Sports Club took the 2nd and Coimbatore G.V. Club 3rd, and Erode Tigers Badminton Club 4th position.  Businessman Balasubramaniam, Auditor S.Sitheswaran, Tiger Badminton Association President M.Jaganmohan and Sathyaseelan presented the prizes at the function. A prize of Rs.10,000 was given to the players who won the first prize on behalf of Erode Sudha Hospital. 

The 2nd team was awarded Rs.7000, the 3rd team  Rs.5000 and the 4th team Rs.4000. Association Secretary Abdul Sadiq, Treasurer Muralikrishnan and many others were present.
