Stir against boodhan land grabbers

All India Nadar Vazhvurimai Sangam members, led by its state president  AN Sadhanadar  staged a demonstration at the Collectorate on Wednesday seeking action against 2 persons who grabbed 20 acres given by the government to 6 poor families at Varadampalayam village in Sathy Taluk under the boodhan movement in 1964.

They alleged that 2 persons of the area created forged deeds and registered the lands allotted to them in their names with the help of some officers of panchayat, taluk and registration offices. Though many complaints were submitted by affected people in the Collectorate and police no action was taken so far.  So, the Collector should intervene in the issue to help the poor,  they demanded. If no action is taken, they would soon picket Sathy DSP office, they added.
