SVPISTM Celebrates Onam with Grandeur and Cultural Splendor

Sardar Vallabhbai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM) came alive on Tuesday with vibrant Onam festivities that blended tradition, culture, and camaraderie, offering students a glimpse into Kerala's rich heritage.
The festival was inaugurated with the resonant beats of chendamelam and lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing the triumph of light, prosperity, and harmony. 
A colorful Pookkalam (floral carpet) competition set the tone for the day, showcasing students' creativity and artistry. 
The graceful Thiruvathira dance, performed by students representing Kerala's tradition, enthralled the audience; while spirited cultural programs and the much-anticipated Vadam Vali (tug of war) added to the festive energy.
