SVPISTM organises Tex-Aura 2025 fashion show in Coimbatore

The Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textiles and Management (SVPISTM) organised Tex-Aura 2025, an intercollegiate fashion show contest, on February 7 in Coimbatore. The event showcased the creative talents of students from across Tamil Nadu, celebrating fashion inspired by nature.

Themed “Sculpted by Nature,” the contest featured stunning, eco-conscious designs that reflected the beauty and diversity of the natural world. The highlight of the evening was an electrifying ramp walk, where participants confidently displayed their creations, bringing the theme to life through unique styles and innovative concepts.
The Valedictory session was presided over by Dr. P Alli Rani, Director of SVPISTM, who welcomed the gathering. The Chief Guest, Amirtharaj Thettraravu Kumar, Vice President of Digital Solutions at Texcoms Worldwide, addressed the audience, emphasising the importance of sustainable practices and digital transformation in the fashion and textile industries. He lauded the young designers for their creativity and vision in integrating nature-inspired elements into their work.

The winners were presented with trophies, cash prizes, and certificates. Sponsored by Texcoms Worldwide, Tex-Aura 2025 served as an inspiring platform for budding designers to explore the intersection of fashion, sustainability, and innovation, pushing the boundaries of style in an environmentally responsible way.
