Tamil Nadu emerges as a powerhouse in aluminium extrusion industry

Tamil Nadu, one of the most industrialised states in the country, has also emerged as one of the most important centres for aluminium manufacturing. The upcoming ALUMEX India 2025, organised by the Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), will showcase Tamil Nadu’s role in the aluminium industry’s future. The expo, India’s first and only dedicated platform for aluminium extrusion, will take place in New Delhi from September 10 to 13.
Jitendra Chopra, President of Aluminium Extrusion Manufacturers Association of India (ALEMAI), said, “Tamil Nadu has become a strong player in the aluminium sector with its combination of industrial strength, skilled manpower, and global connectivity. Through ALUMEX India 2025, we want to highlight these strengths and help businesses explore opportunities for collaboration and innovation.” ALUMEX India 2025 is supported by Hindalco, Vedanta, and JNARDDC (an autonomous body under the Ministry of Mines), and the Ministry of MSMEs.
