Tamil Nadu soars with high-tech industry investments and major MoUs

By 2030, Tamil Nadu should turn into an economy valued at $1 Trillion US dollars, according to Chief Minister M.K. Stalin. To expedite the attainment of this objective, the Government of Tamil Nadu is implementing multiple measures.
Various efforts are made to attract high-tech industries that can provide high level of investment and employment opportunities.As a part of it, the World Investors Conference was held in Chennai and MOUs were signed to the tune of an unprecedented investment of Rs 6 lakh 64 thousand 180 crore and around 30 lakh direct and indirect employment.
Following this, an agreement is being made with Google's Alphabet to set up a Google Pixel mobile phone manufacturing plant in Tamil Nadu along with Foxconn.
Foxconn, Pegatron and Tata Electronics are already manufacturing iPhones for Apple in Tamil Nadu. Currently, Google Pixel cell phone manufacturing plant is also set up in Tamil Nadu. In the last 5 months of the current year, Tamil Nadu has attracted investments to the tune of 7 lakh crore rupees.
Through this, 30 lakh jobs have been created which is considered to as the biggest achievement. The people of Tamilnadu look forward for this progress to continue.
