Tata passenger electricity mobility will reveal the price of its Quad Wheel Drive (QWD) dual-motor variants on Friday. The company has announced the introductory price for the Real-Wheel Drive (RWD) variants, since the booking for Harrier.ev will begin on July 2.
Vivek Srivatsa, chief commercial officer of the company said, “With Harrier.ev, we intend to unleash the true potential of an SUV by delivering unparalleled supercar-like performance, go-anywhere off-road capability, and indulgent technology with luxurious comfort. What makes it remarkable is that it offers all this at price parity with ICE-powered vehicles, while surpassing them in performance, capability, technology, and safety.”
We are not only taking a significant step forward in advancing e-mobility in India, but also offering a strong alternative to traditional ICE-powered vehicles, he said, adding that they are confident the vehicle will usher a new era of SUVS.
The vehicle comes with dual motor power of 158 PS (116 kW) at the front, and 238 PS (175 kW) at the rear; has supercar-like performance; has 504 Nm torque from the dual-motor setup; has go-anywhere off-road capability; offers off-road experience with the Quad Wheel Drive; has six terrain modes and provides 540-degree surround view.
Tata also provides lifetime warranty on the battery pack. The vehicle is powered by a 75kWh battery pack, giving ARAI certified range of 627 km.
It provides fast charging, by adding up to 250 km of range with a 15-minute charge.
