Thoothukudi Thersa Engineering college placement celebration

In a jubilant celebration, St. Mother Theresa Engineering College in Vagaikulam, Thoothukudi, honoured its final year students who secured placement offers from various multinational corporations (MNCs). Dr. S Cletus Babu, the college's founder-chairman, presided over the event, accompanied by Correspondent Priyadarshini Arun Babu and Principal Dr. J Jasper Gnana Chandran.
More than 230 students received placement orders during the academic year 2023–2024, a testament to the college's commitment to providing top-class education and industry-relevant training. With over 20 industrial applied labs equipped with modern equipment, students are well-prepared to excel in their careers.
During the ceremony, Dr. Babu and Priyadharshini Arunbabu congratulated the students and their parents, presenting them with identity cards and job offers from renowned multinational corporations. Dr. Babu emphasised the importance of diligent work and encouraged students to excel in their future endeavours.
The college's efforts were praised by parents, with 100% of final year students securing placements, with the highest salary package reaching Rs 10 lakhs per annum. This success was attributed to the dedicated lecturers who provided daily lesson plans and essential training.
Expressing gratitude, parents commended the college administration for providing job opportunities to rural students and enhancing their future prospects. Dr. Vignesh, the Administrative Officer, extended thanks to all parents and students for their support.
