District Collector Christuraj of Tiruppur allocated welfare funds amounting to Rs. 1.30 crore to 117 individuals from Edayapalayam village in the Uthukuli region during a public relations camp organised by the revenue and disaster management department at Rajmahal Kalyana Mandapam.
During his address at the camp, the district collector highlighted the government's commitment to implementing various schemes for the public's benefit. He emphasised that reaching out to the Uthukuli region was part of this welfare initiative aimed at addressing people's grievances and resolving their issues.
He also noted the convenience brought about by the government's initiative to hold camps where officials listen to people's problems directly, eliminating the need for individuals to visit multiple government offices to submit petitions.
Following the distribution of welfare schemes, the district collector also visited an exhibition organised by several government departments. This move underscores the administration's approach towards addressing public needs and showcasing various government initiatives aimed at societal welfare.
