Tiruppur Collector inspects development works in Andipalayam Lake

Tiruppur District Collector  Mr. T Chrishtraj inspected the development work in Andipalayam Lake, on Wednesday.
He said that m a survey was conducted  regarding the development work in Andipalayam lake.  Although there are various tourist sites in the district, the Government  has decided to establish a recreational site in Andipalayam Lake in Tiruppur. On behalf of the Tourism Development Corporation, project works are being carried out at an estimate of Rs.1.47 crore. The tourism development project includes boat rides, waterfalls, and construction and improvement of visitor dome, boathouse, children's park, restaurant, etc.  Currently 99 percent of work has been completed. Soon all the works will be completed and Andipalayam lake will become the best recreation place for the people of Tiruppur. District Tourism Officer Mr. Aravindakumar was present.
