Tiruppur Collector inspects government projects in Uthukuli

Tiruppur Collector T Christuraj visited and inspected numerous government projects and offices in Uthukuli as part of the Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme on Thursday.

The Ungalai Thedi Ungal Ooril scheme, introduced by Chief Minister MK Stalin, aims to ensure the smooth execution of government projects. Under this scheme, district collectors visit one region per month to review ongoing projects.

During his visit to the Uthukuli region, Collector T Christuraj examined various government projects, including the selection of beneficiaries for the Kalaignar Kanavu Illam scheme. He discussed the road facility at Chennimalai Palayam in Chengapalli and reviewed the construction of a drainage canal in Kunnathur Municipality, estimated at Rs. 35 lakhs.

The collector also inspected the Tahsildar office, schools, district development offices, agricultural warehouses, and the village administrator officer's office. He evaluated the work being carried out in these offices.

District Revenue Officer Jai Bhim, Sub Collector Saumya Anand, Deputy Collector Kumararaja, Uthukuli Tahsildar Saravanan, and other government officers were present during the event.
