Tiruppur Corporation Commissioner inaugurates Chief Minister’s cricket cup

Tiruppur Corporation Commissioner Pawankumar G Giriappanavar inaugurated the Chief Minister’s Cricket Cup for school students at Devaranpalayam Srinaachiammal Vidyavani CBSE Senior Secondary School in Thirumuruganpoondi Municipality on September 22. 
After the inauguration, the commissioner took part in the event by batting for a few minutes.
This cricket tournament is part of the Chief Minister’s Trophy, which was earlier inaugurated by the Minister of Youth Welfare and Sports Development, Udhayanidhi Stalin, on September 10 in Sivagangai. 
The competition is designed to identify and nurture talented young athletes, offering them opportunities to advance in their sporting careers. District Sports Officer Raghukumar and other officials were also present at the event.
