Tiruppur District Court Lawyers Association has elected new office bearers

The Tirupur District Court Lawyers Association conducted its 2025 elections on March 28, strictly adhering to the "One Bar, One Vote" rule mandated by the Tamil Nadu & Puducherry Bar Council. The election was conducted fairly and transparently by outgoing secretary Kumaran.
Most positions, including Secretary, Joint Secretary, Treasurer, and six Executive Members, were filled unopposed. However, the President and Vice President positions saw a contested election, with candidates working hard to gain members' confidence.
Polling took place from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and the results declared O Uthayasuriyan as the new President and AT Sathiyamoorthy as the Vice President. P Vijayanand was unanimously elected as Secretary, V Nandakumar as Joint Secretary, and T Muthulakshmi as Treasurer.
The six unopposed Executive Members are K. Rajagopal, D Mahalakshmi, R Prabakaran, R Selvam, R Vikas, and G Hari Purushothaman. The election process was conducted smoothly, following legal guidelines set by the High Court and Supreme Court. 
The newly elected office bearers are expected to work towards the betterment of the association and legal community in Tirupur.
