Tiruvannamalai Collector inspects Kalasapakkam panchayat union

District collector K Tharpagaraj on Wednesday inspected multiple ongoing projects in Kalasapakkam panchayat union in the district.
He inspected the construction of houses at the cost of Rs 2.40 lakhs under Prime Minister’s housing scheme 2024-25 in Thenmala Devamangalam panchayat, under Kalaignar dream house scheme at the cost of Rs 3.10 lakhs.
Collector also inspected the construction of a new bus stand at the cost of Rs 18 lakhs in Kadaladi panchayat, and directed concerned officials to speed up the work.
He also conducted a surprise inspection at the government primary health centre in Kadaladi, and interacted with patients. He inspected the dispensary and checked the medicines in stock.
The collector, furthermore, inspected the site that was selected for the construction of an additional building at the cost of Rs 65 lakhs in the centre.
BDOs and other officials were present during the inspection.
