TN Air Sqn NCC – in pursuit of excellence

2 TN Air Sqn NCC based in Coimbatore is conducting its Second Annual Training Camp at Nehru College of Arts And Science, Thirumalapalayam, Coimbatore with effect from July 16 to 25. 
This camp has been officially designated as the ‘Annual training camp (ATC) cum Launch camp for the Air Wing Inter Group Competition-2022’.

The purpose of any Annual Training Camp (ATC) is validation of the training given to the cadets in the training years till the date of the Camp.  Nextly, for every cadet to appear in ‘A’  ‘B’ and ‘C’ certificate exams he or she has to attend at least One Annual Training Camp in the academic year..

This particular annual training camp has an additional significant purpose. The unit is in the process of final preparations to send a team of 38 cadets of two Air Wing Units under NCC Group Headquarters Coimbatore ( 2 TN Air NCC, Cbe  and 5TN  Air NCC Salem) to participate in the Air Wing inter Directorate competition to be held in Madurai from July 27. 

Tamil Nadu has a total of 6 Air Wing Units and all the Units participate in this camp with the aim to select the final 38 who will further go on to represent NCC Directorate (TN,P&AN) at the all India Vayu Sainik Camp to be held at Jodhpur in October 2022.
