TN Speaker launches state branch of APSI

The Tamil Nadu state branch of APSI was launched on October 1 as the Tamil Nadu Association of Laryngology (TAL). It was inaugurated by the Speaker of Tamil Nadu Assembly Mr. MP Appavu and members of APSI and TAL..Mid Term PhonoCon 2022 of Association of Phono Surgeons of India (APSI) was held at The Head And Neck Center and Hospital, Kilpauk, Chennai. 

The conference sessions held in the morning was inaugurated by Mr. A. Vetriazhagan, Member of Tamil Nadu Legislative AssemblyLaryngology is a medical specialty that deals with problems of the voice, breathing, and swallowing. The Association of Phono Surgeons of India (APSI) which consists of doctors working in this field organises Mid Term Phonocon Conference and workshops annually to improve the lives of patients in the field of Laryngology.

More than thirty international and leading specialists  in the field of laryngology in India shared their experience with more than a hundred ENT Surgeons and Speech Pathologists.
