Toll plaza coming up on Bhavani - Mettur road

Construction and road widening work for setting up a toll plaza at Ammapet on Erode - Bhavani - Mettur - Thoppur National Highway is underway.
This road, which was a two-lane road, has been declared a national highway, widened by 1.5 meters on both sides, and declared a toll road. 
A toll booth for vehicles is being set up at Ammapet next to Bhavani in Erode district. 
For this, 104 trees have been cut in the area and the road has been widened.
At present, construction work including office and traffic barriers is going on in the toll plaza area.
The toll plaza will be opened soon as all the under bridge and expansion works which have been going on in various parts of this highway are nearing completion. 
Then, it is said that the vehicles plying on this road will have to go only after paying the toll.
