Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has announced the launch of its fifth 'Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota' in Guwahati, India. The event, which will take place from 8th March to 10th March 2024, is part of a series of adventurous off-roading drives across India. The event will take participants to the picturesque landscape of PRP Valley and explore scenic locations in the Meghalaya region. TKM has previously held four 4X4 experiential drives in four zones, gaining popularity among the 4X4 community.
The expedition features a convoy of impressive 4-wheel drive SUVs, including the iconic Hilux, LC300, Fortuner, and Hyryder AWD (All Wheel Drive), as well as owners of other brands. The event also includes an environmental preservation initiative where participants contribute to a virtual tree plantation, with SankalpTaru planting saplings on behalf of the participants. Participants can observe the growth of their plant by scanning a QR code provided to them.
TomoyKirloskar Motor's Vice President - Sales-Service-Used Car Business, SabariManohar, stated that the 'Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota' is an experience that combines camaraderie, adventure, and outdoor fun. The Northeast region is unique and highly significant to Toyota, and the fifth leg of the 'Great 4X4 Expedition by Toyota' follows the success of the last four series.
These efforts aim to evoke fun spirit in participants, regardless of their vehicle brand, and foster inclusivity, spirit of exploration, and commitment to environmental sustainability. Participants will have the opportunity to contribute to nature conservation through planting saplings via SankalpTaru
