Training camp for women workers of ready-made garments at Erode

A training camp for women workers of a ready-made garment factory was held at Sathyamangalam on Wednesday.

READ, NGO,  is engaged in various activities in the districts of Erode, Tirupur, Coimbatore for the education and economic advancement of children, women and socially disadvantaged people.

As a part of this, a training camp was held on Wednesday for workers working in ready-made garment factories in Sathyamangalam.

READ Directors Karupasamy and Sowmia presided. In this, training was given on getting minimum wage for tailoring and banian industry, legal benefits and methods of getting it. This training was jointly organized by READ and ARPNA. More than 50 workers participated in the program.
