Training program on prevention of sexual violence against women at Erode

On behalf of READ Charity Trust, a training program on Prevention and Remedial Act 2013 against Sexual Violence against Women at Workplace was held for the Forest Department officers and employees at Hasanoor on Friday. District Forest Officer (DFO) Sudhakar spoke on gender equality. Karuppasamy, Director, READ, moderated the panel discussion. This is followed by discussion on prevention of sexual harassment on women in the workplace. Uma Maheshwari gave a video presentation  on the subject. In the event, Forest Officer Asanur Pandyaraj, Superintendent Mr. Shahjahan, Vanavar Gunasekaran, Vanavar Bharti and Project Coordinator Palanichamy were present.
