Transgender women paraded in bridal attire

A parade of transgenders in bridal attire was held in Erode on Sunday to get a place in the Guinness Book of Records.More than 50 transgender women from Puducherry and Tamil Nadu participated in this event. They were given 2 hours to make up as bride.

This was followed by a dress parade of transgenders. Film Director Azharuddin, Actor Gautham,and Rabi acted as referees. Programme coordinator Jayasarathy said that 15 transgenders who have shown outstanding talent will be honored and given an opportunity to act in a film.
