Trichy conference and OPS’ influence!

He announced that a conference would be held in Trichy against Edappadi as he broke his dream of capturing the leadership of the AIADMK.
Accordingly, a triennial conference was held on behalf of the OPS team at Trichy Ponmalai G corner yesterday evening. OPS said that Sasikala, T.T.V.Dhinakaran and all the senior leaders who were removed from the party will come. But none like Sasikala, T.T.V.Dhinakaran turned their heads towards OPS. 
He said that the volunteers are on my side. However, the volunteers could not prove their strength. Attendance at the conference was significantly lower than expected. It seems that no one wanted to participate in the conference as all means of taking over the AIADMK have been a failure.
It is said that only 20 thousand chairs were placed in the conference. While the OPS had said that lakhs of people would come, more than half of these 20,000 chairs were lying empty. Especially, it seems that fewer vehicles came from Theni district. Political commentators believe that O. Panneerselvam's influence has declined like that of firework, unable to bring in additional men from his own district.
OPS has wasted many crores of rupees to prove his influence through this conference; Disappointment only was the result. The Trichy convention has exposed that the influence of the collapsed OPS. His political career has become a big question mark.
