Trophies and prizes for Basketball Championship winners

India's first ever 3 x 3 National Basketball Championship was held on 22nd at Chennai Nehru Indoor Stadium. 

Tamil Nadu, Punjab and Kerala teams grabbed the top three positions in the Men's category respectively. Similarly, in the women's category, Kerala, Delhi and Railway teams took the top three spots. 

The first place team was given a cash prize of Rs 3 lakh, the second place team got Rs 2 lakh and the third place team got Rs 1 lakh. 

Basketball Federation of India President Aadhav Arjuna, High Court Justice Radhakrishnan Bhatt, Karan Singh, Selvaganesh IRS, Scott Fleming, General Secretary Kulwinder Singh and others presented the trophies and prizes. 

A total of 56 teams participated in this series in men's and women's categories. The quarter-finals, semi-finals and finals of the tournament, jointly organized by the Basketball Federation of India and the Tamil Nadu Basketball Association, were held. About 16 teams including Tamil Nadu men's and women's teams participated in the championship.
