Two men arrested for selling wild boar meat in Coimbatore

In Coimbatore, two men, Marudachalam and Ranganathan, were arrested for selling wild boar meat. The incident occurred after a wild boar was killed in an accident on the Anaikatti-Coimbatore road near Mangarai in the Coimbatore Forest area. The men from Thadagam Kuttaveli took the carcass, cut it into pieces, and attempted to sell the meat. However, forest personnel, who were patrolling the area, apprehended them and seized 15 kg of wild boar meat. The authorities fined the two men Rs 60,000 for their actions.
