U.V.E.Sa. birthday announced as Tamil Literature Revival Day

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin announced that the birthday of UV Saminatha Iyer, fondly known as "Tamil Grandfather," will be celebrated as Tamil Literature Revival Day. The declaration was made during the Legislative Assembly session on December 10. Speaking in the Assembly, the Chief Minister said, “Accepting the request of member KP Munusamy to commemorate Dr. UV Saminatha Iyer S contributions to Tamil literature, I announce that his birthday will be celebrated as 'Tamil Literary Revival Day.'” The announcement was met with widespread approval from the Assembly members. Additionally, Chief Minister Stalin extended birthday wishes to Deputy Speaker G Pichandi, marking the occasion in the Assembly.
