Deputy Chief Minister Udhayanidhi Stalin asked the government officials to pay special attention and provide welfare assistance to the hill people of Tiruvannamalai district through various special schemes of the Tamil Nadu government.
He held a review meeting on development projects being implemented on behalf of all government departments at the Tiruvannamalai District Collector's office on Saturday.
He reviewed the special projects of the Chief Minister, petitions received from the people seeking patta certificates, development projects including the construction of new bus stand, drinking water projects, and road works etc.
He Inquired about the reason for the backlog of petitions received from the public and asked the officials to take prompt action on them. He also inquired about the reason for the rejection.
