Udayanidhi launches Rs 307.15 cr worth projects at Erode

The SHG women should act as ambassadors of CM in propagating the government welfare schemes among people, appealed Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Udayanidhi Stalin.
He distributed Rs 179.09 cr aid to 12291 women SHG beneficiaries and inaugurated Rs 136.06 cr projects at a function arranged by the TN Women Development Corporation at Solar, Erode on Thursday.
In his speech, he said that the a sports stadium would be come up after getting permission from CM in the meeting venue where Mofussil bus stand is established.
The late CM Kalaignar started the Women SHG scheme. Of Rs 30000 cr loan target fixed for the SHGs this year, Rs 25000 cr disbursed so far. The state contributed Rs 6 lakh cr to the Centre as tax since 2014. But the Centre offered Rs 2.5 lakh cr only to the state. It means 29 paise was returned out of R 1 collected from us. 
Despite, the state government has done a lot for the development of women for overall development of the state. Now, 17 lakh children get morning food in schools, 1.16 cr women get Rs 1000 Urimai Thogai every month, lakhs of women get Rs 1000 every month for higher education under pudumai pen scheme. 
Each woman save nearly Rs 1000 every month by travelling in government bus free of cost. 
The SHG women involve in Illam Thedi Maruthuvam Health Scheme. For their benefit, Poomalai complex was constructed in all districts. Website was created for selling their products. 
In today's function, Rs 3.20 cr worth 100 battery vehicles were given to help them sell their products. Rs 19.20 lakh bank loan was also given to 6 SHGs to improve their business. 
This is not a loan but confidence heaped on them by the CM. He appealed to the SHGs to use the schemes effectively to come up in life.
