Unnat Bharat Abhiyan programme in KPRIET Campus

The Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) team of KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology (KPRIET) conducted an awareness programme for the faculty and student volunteers on 11.11.2022 at the campus. Dr.M.Akila, Principal and Dr.P.Geetha, Head, first year, of KPRIET enlightened on the importance of Rural Development.
The chief guest Dr.E.Somasundram, UBA – regional coordinator, TNAU, Coimbatore gavea brief idea of the various avenues to serve the villages. 

He also commented on the technology development and it’s importance in the field of agriculture, water management, health and nutrition. He gave a disquisition of the different types of work done by our institute and also motivated the faculty and student volunteers to work and develop the villages adopted by KPRIET.Student volunteers and faculty members were honoured in the event with certificates and shields.
