Valedictory function for Home Guards training session organized

The city police commissioner V Balakrishnan attended the valedictory function of training session for Home Guards at Home Guards ground in the city as the chief guest. The training personnel performed the passing out parade and the commissioner accepted it. 

As many as 33 personnel – 26 men and seven women – attended the training which has been taking place for the past 45 days.  Based on the advice of the commissioner, a musical troop was formed with 16 of them and the team could be availed by the public. Charges for availing the troop are Rs 10000 for two hours, Rs 12,500 for three hours and Rs 15,000 for four hours.
