Valparai Summer festival to begin on May 26

According to the directions of the Chief Minister, a 3-day summer festival will be held at Valparai from May 26. During the summer festival, expo will be held on behalf of the government departments so that the public can see and benefit of the projects implemented by the government. Also, on behalf of Arts and Culture Department, School Education and Tourism Departments cultural   program, tea making competition, dog show etc will be held and prizes will be distributed.  
Minister of Electricity V Senthilbalaji will attend the valedictory of the festival and flower show and will present government welfare assistance to the beneficiaries and prizes to the winners of various competitions. 
Also, MPs, MLAs, representatives of local bodies, cooperative societies, government officials and dignitaries will attend, said Collector Krantikumar Padi.
