VCK demo at Punjai Puliampatti

Cadres of  Erode North District VCK led by party deputy general secretary Vanni Arasu and district secretary Siruthai Valluvan staged a demonstration in front of the Punjai Puliampatti municipal office near Sathy in protest against the municipality for removing beef stalls from the Punjai Puliampatti weekly shandy without giving prior notice while allowing mutton and chicken shops to function as usual. It would be a discrimination against the Dalits and Muslims who opt beef. They asked the local body to allow the traders to sell beef in the market. 
Party functionaries Pon. Thambirajan, Secretary Y. Ramachandran, Thagadur Tamilchelvan, M. Sakul Hameed, Iswaran and many others attended the stir.
