Velumani offered flowers into Noyyal river

Former AIADMK minister and MLA SP Velumani offered flowers into the Noyyal river in Thennamanallur near Thondamuthur in the district, as a symbolic gesture of welcome. With the onset of southwest monsoon, the district especially the Siruvani catchment areas have been receiving good rainfall for the past few days. 
This in turn has increased water flow at Perur Padithurai, Chithirai Chavadi dam and Kalavai dam. 
The MLA, who inspected the areas, offered flowers. He also advised people to be cautious and not to step into the water bodies.
