Gobi Sri Venkateswara Hi Tech College of Engineering's third-year mechanical engineering students Sukesan and Kuppusamy have made a chariot that can be pulled by a human being model robot. Two people can travel in it. With the help of sensors and batteries, the passengers can operate this chariot. About Rs one lakh has been spent on this. The students said that they are going to develop it further and modify it in a way that the chariot can move faster by attaching wheels to its legs where the human-powered chariot is installed. They said that this chariot will be welcomed in the future as it will be a decorative vehicle for the bride and groom to travel at events like weddings. Their effort was highly appreciated by the college Correspondent and former minister K C Karuppannan and Principal Dr Thangavel.
