VGM hospital staff take pledge with public to keep cancer at bay

In response to the rising incidence of cancer diagnoses in India, VGM Hospital recently organised a cancer awareness campaign for the public. 
The initiative involved the hospital management taking a pledge alongside the public, committing to implement positive actions to mitigate the risk of cancer.
The pledge encompassed various actions, such as avoiding tobacco products, limiting alcohol intake, adopting a healthy diet, and engaging in regular exercise, among 
others.  
VGM hospital has been actively conducting awareness programs in numerous colleges, reaching out to over 5000 students. 
The cancer awareness campaign, inaugurated by District Collector Kranthi Kumar Pati, IAS, witnessed participation from various organisations, including Young Indians Coimbatore, Rotary Club Coimbatore Downtown, Rotary Club Coimbatore Smart City, Rotary Club Coimbatore East, Round Table CURT - 186, Race Course Walkers Club, and members of the general public.
