Video of an elephant goes viral

The video of a wild elephant taking bath at the backwater of Pillur dam has gone viral on social media platforms. 
The movement of wild animals including tigers, leopards and elephants can be seen along Mettupalayam, Karamadai and Sirumugai regions.
The movements of elephants have increased in recent times especially during morning and evening hours. 
They can be spotted when they cross the roads, and they often enter farmlands or residential areas located in the forest fringes. A video of one such elephant that is playing in the backwater has gone viral.
