Actor Vijay, who has started a new party called Tamilaga Vetri Kazhagam, is touring Tamil Nadu as the assembly elections are due next year.
The DMK has been criticizing the BJP for being at the forefront of making false allegations against the DMK government and Chief Minister M.K. Stalin, and the fact that AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi Palaniswami has been competing fiercely to take that position and is running a false campaign. But now, the DMK has come out strongly against Vijay for engaging in false campaigning, saying that he is not averse to both AIADMK and BJP.
Vijay, who started his tour from Trichy, met people in Nagapattinam and Tiruvarur districts the day before yesterday and campaigned. Vijay said that there is no maritime college in Nagapattinam. But the truth is that the Tamil Nadu Dr. J. Jayalalithaa Fisheries University is located there.
