Villagers seek bridge across Bavani river

People of Ammapalayam panchayat near Gobi demanded a footbridge across Bavani river. It includes Ammapalayam, Rakinampalayam and Ganesanputhur villages. Due to lack of road facilities in this village, villagers have to cross the Bhavani river to reach the Anthiyur - Sathy road and go to other towns from there. Otherwise, they have to walk for more than eight km to catch a bus at Mevani.  So, many use parisal for many years to cross the Bhavani river. School going children travel in parisal with fear every day and two teachers working in the primary school in Ammapalayam also come in parisal every day fearing for their lives.
