VIT University signs MoU with Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre

The MoU signing ceremony between VIT University, Vellore and Sri Narayani Hospital and Research Centre was held on Tuesday.
VIT Chancellor K. Viswanathan presided Principal of VIT College of Health Sciences and Engineering, Geetha Manivasagam welcomed.
Dr. Balaji, Director and Trustee of Sri Narayani Educational Trust, delivered the keynote address.
In his speech, VIT Chancellor K. Viswanathan said that through this MoU, VIT professors and the Sri Narayani Hospital medical team will get the opportunity to work together in research and development work and make it useful for future students.
He also said that VIT undergraduate and postgraduate students will be provided with the opportunity to undertake clinical training, project opportunities, student exchange, professional training and collaborative research at Sri Narayani Hospital.
In addition, doctors from Sri Narayani Hospital will also have the opportunity to undertake individual research courses at VIT University. He informed that members of both institutions will be able to participate in joint research work. VIT Vice President Shekhar Viswanathan, Executive Director Sandhya Bendareddy, Associate Vice Chancellor Parthasarathy Mallick, Associate Director of Sri Narayani Hospital Research Centre Dr. Ramprasad Srinivasan and others were present at the event.
