Wako India Open Kickboxing Championship

Wako India Kickboxing Federation arranged 3rd open international kickboxing championship in the Indira Gandhi stadium, New Delhi, from Feb 7 to 11. 18 nations took part in it. On behalf of TN Amateur Kickboxing Association, 90 players including 34 girls attended in the 7 to 9 age group, seniors and masters category and got 54 gold, 43 silver, and 31 bronze medals. In the children's musical form category, Vandhana of Gobi won gold in silambam, and Syed Sakim got 6th place. The duo went under

 their chief coach and Erode district kickboxing association general secretary A Yusuf. They were felicitated by coach Sengottaiyan of Gobi and their parents.
