In view of International Women’s Day, All India people rights and legal awareness organization distributed welfare aids to women sanitary workers at KRG Nagar near Ganapathy in the city.
Honorary president of the organization and an advocate by president Sundaravadivelu and Udhayam social service trust’s Jayaprakash participated in the event as chief guests and distributed aids to the women.
Addressing the gathering, Sundaravadivelu said, “Though women have started achieving in all the fields on par with men, more women should come forward and achieve something or the other for the nation to stand with its chin high.

Men should extend unconditional support to men. When women achieve more at the global stage, India would shine with pride. For that, women should break the barriers and come forward with confidence.” The event was presided over by founding president of the organization RK Kumar.
All India general secretary of the organization Subramaniam attended the event and delivered a special address. State president Latha Arjunan, district vice president Riswana Parvin, Isai Kalaimamani Chandini, deputy secretary Chandrakala, women’s wing secretary Muthamizhselvi, district vice president Narayanaselvaraj, senior advocate Sundarabalan, vice president Viswanathan, volunteer Babu, event coordinators Appu, Madhu, Manikandan and Ramajayam attended the event.
