Welfare assistance worth Rs. 6 cr given on Women's Day at Tiruvannamalai

Tiruvannamalai District Collector K. Dharbagaraj distributed Rs 6 cr worth loans and government benefits to women self-help groups at the Women's Day function held on behalf of the Mahalir Thittam at the District Collectorate. He spoke on various welfare schemes of the government and asked women to use them properly. 
Following that, he presented commendation shields to those who had worked well in the women's program. Earlier, he visited the special Co-optex sales expo in the premises. 
The event was attended by District Rural Development Agency Project Director Mani, Project Director Women's Project Saranya Devi, District Social Welfare Officer (P) Saranya, District Manager Tahdco, District Lead Bank Manager Ezhumalai, Let's Live Project Executive Officer Tamil Maran,and Assistant Project Officer Johnson.
